This reserve, located about eighty miles northwest of Johannesburg, is home to a wide variety of wildlife. Visitors have a good chance of seeing the "big five," as well as hippo, giraffe, cheetah, and an assortment of birdlife. Night gameviewing offers an entirely new perspective. Civets, porcupine, and caracal are all creatures of the night, though their dislike of large vehicles with strong spotlights makes them a challenge to catch. Park guests have the option to be quite maneuverable in the park as driving, hiking, biking, and balloon rides are all popular ways to get around.
