| Camps | Description | Price Range ($/person/night) | | Sossusvlei Camp | Sossusvlei Wilderness Camp is a twenty bedded camp made out of brick, rock and thatch in the Namib Desert. The camp, consisting of ten comfortable rock, timber and thatch guest rooms recessed into the face of a low hill or "kopje" ensures personal service and attention, while at the same time protecting the wonderfully peaceful atmosphere of the desert. The en suite bathrooms have both hot and cold running water, showers and flush toilets, as well as a panoramic view of the plains below. The camp overlooks an open plain with the dunes on the horizon. Activities here include an early morning safari down to the very end of the Tsauchab River and the heart of Sossusvlei for those wonderful red dune scenes. The nature drives will take place in 4x4 vehicles, and will also include a visit to Sesriem Canyon. Nature trails on the reserve highlight the unique Namib flora and fauna. | |
