Chobe Game Lodge

Chobe Game Lodge is situated within the Chobe National Park, approximately 50 miles from Victoria Falls. The lodge offers every luxury and comfort for your journey into the wild. The architecture is Moorish and graceful with high arches, barrel-vault ceilings and tiled floors, creating an atmosphere of spaciousness and tranquility. All rooms are tastefully furnished and are cooled by overhead fans. All rooms overlook the perennial Chobe River and the adjacent Caprivi floodplain. Facilities within the lodge include a well stocked curio shop, swimming pool, wildlife reference library, and a stylishly decorated Linyanti bar and lounge area. Game drives are conducted in open 4-wheel drive vehicles, normally in the early morning and late afternoon. Game viewing from small boats is a special Chobe experience.

Chobe Chilero

Chilwero quite literally means "a place of the high view," which accurately describes this lodge which sits above the Chobe River and offers unparalleled views across the islands, flood plains, and as far as Namibia. Chilwero offers visitors a full taste of Africa's pristine paradise. Activities here include daily game drives in open vehicles guided by professional animal trackers. Water safaris via motorized boats are offered twice daily. Birding safaris, as well as fishing can be arranged by request.

Chilwero's accommodation is now at a maximum capacity of sixteen guests in eight twin bedded thatch and timber bungalows. All rooms have en-suite bathrooms and offer hot and cold running water. All lighting is operated be solar powered generators.

Muchenje

Located less than five km from Chobe National Park, Muchenje Safari Lodge has been designed to take full advantage of the breathtaking views over the Caprivi Strip. The lodge accommodates twenty guests in intimate exclusivity. The ten twin-bedded thatched chalets, all with en-suite facilities, are sited in the escarpment edge, all with their own balcony and unique view. The thatched main lodge includes a dining area, lounge, bar, reception, shop and game viewing platform overlooking the water-hole. Guests can relax by the swimming pool built amongst natural rock formations, or they can take advantage of the safari drives in custom built, open safari vehicles, and walking safaris, both conducted by licensed professional guides.

Mowana

Surrounded on three sides by the Chobe River, with its prolific game and bird life, Mowana is spectacularly sited, and is truly in harmony with nature. There are 104 luxury rooms with en suite full bathrooms and four suites, all of which are river facing. Also included are: air-conditioning, mini bars, hairdryers, tea and coffee making facilities, ceiling fans, mosquito nets and electric insect repellents. Facilities at Mowana include an outdoor swimming pool, Serondella Restaurant (set in an entirely natural landscape), and the Savuti Bar, which overlooks the ever changing Chobe River.

Savuti Elephant Camp

Savute is situated in Chobe National Park on the mysterious Savute Channel. Accommodations are under airy canvas in large, spacious tents, best-suited to the desert air. The tents are fully fitted with shower rooms and plenty of hot water, electric fans and heaters, private viewing decks, electric shaver plugs and facilities for charging your video camera batteries. Savute offers wonderful game viewing as well as the rare opportunity to view rock paintings created by the early Bushmen who once inhabited the region.The birdlife and game here are astonishing. At Savute, one might view herds of impala, tsessebe, giraffe, zebra, and will often be within close viewing range of the powerful predators lion, leopard and cheetah.
